Outlast Trials crossplay exists for co-op: Fandom's game page lists cross-platform cooperative play, and the game runs on Windows, PlayStation 4 and 5 and Xbox. This page covers what the sources say about crossplay and party sizes for each mode.
Outlast Trials platforms and crossplay
The Outlast Trials is on PC through Steam, on PlayStation 4 and 5, and on Xbox. Fandom's game page lists its modes as single-player and cross-platform cooperative. In April 2023 Red Barrels said it was aiming for cross-platform play but no cross-progression, so progress does not carry from one platform to another. The game left early access on 5 March 2024. Check the system requirements for the PC build.

Platforms in short
Pick the platform your friends are on and you can still team up with the rest, since co-op is cross-platform, but keep in mind that your progress stays on the platform where you earned it.
- PC: Windows, through Steam.
- PlayStation: PS4 and PS5.
- Xbox.
Playing with friends
Each player brings their own amps and rigs, and what you can equip depends on your own Therapy Level. In Escalation, only the group leader keeps the save file. Read the beginner guide before you join a group.
