How the Berserker hunts in The Outlast Trials

He stays in one area swinging at the air until he hears you. Footsteps, thrown objects, breaking doors or windows, kicked tin cans, broken glass, triggered Screamers and other noisy hazards all draw him in. He moves fast when he heads for a noise, and his thundering steps and rattling chains warn you he is near.

How to get past the Berserker

Stay quiet and sneak around him. The Stun rig can still stop him, but the Blind rig's smoke does not hide you because he is immune to it. He may check hiding spots, but he never grabs a Reagent hidden inside one. The amps that cut your noise, such as Noise Reduction and Slippers, help here.

Outlast Trials Berserker loadout picks

To plan around the Berserker, start from the enemies hub and the Ex-Pop page, then pick a rig from the rig tier list and try it in the loadout builder. The best loadout guide has full sets, and the variators guide shows how a trial can change who hunts you.

Outlast Trials Berserker FAQ

Can the Berserker see me?
Not unless you get very close. He is blind and relies on noise, so he does not react to you in his line of sight.
What commonly pulls the Berserker onto me?
Running away from another Ex-Pop, such as a Prime Asset, can lead you between the Berserker and the chaser.
