Outlast Trials Jaeger
The Outlast Trials Jaeger is Henrietta Grubbs, a former Reagent turned cyborg Ex-Pop who is sent into a trial to hunt one specific Reagent and always knows where that person is.
Jaeger at a glance
| Real name | Henrietta Grubbs (Reagent 0985) |
| Rank | Specialist Ex-Pop |
| Target | One Reagent per hunt |
| Warning | A loud klaxon heard by all Reagents |
How the Jaeger hunts in The Outlast Trials
Her arrival is announced by a harsher klaxon than the normal Insertion Gate alarm, heard by every Reagent. She picks one target and, thanks to the radio on her head, always knows exactly where they are, even in a hiding spot. A night vision eyepiece lets her see in the dark too. She keeps hunting that one Reagent until they are killed or incapacitated, then leaves or switches target.
What does not work on the Jaeger
She cannot be stunned or slowed, only briefly interrupted, and she smashes locked doors and boarded entrances in one hit. The Blind rig's smoke does nothing to her, the Heal rig's Poison slow does not affect her, the Jammer rig cannot corrupt her, and the Invisible amp does not hide you from her.
How to survive the Jaeger
Because only her target is in danger, teammates can help by pulling her off or reviving. A Jaeger variator can also make her a permanent presence in a trial; see the variators guide.
Outlast Trials Jaeger loadout picks
To plan around the Jaeger, start from the enemies hub and the Ex-Pop page, then pick a rig from the rig tier list and try it in the loadout builder. The best loadout guide has full sets, and the variators guide shows how a trial can change who hunts you.
Outlast Trials Jaeger FAQ
- Can I hide from the Jaeger?
- No. She always knows her target's location, so hiding spots do not help against her.
- Does the Stun rig stop the Jaeger?
- Only briefly. Fandom's Rigs page says she can only be stunned for a short time, and the Extended Duration upgrade does not affect her.
